Feature

Chrome Extension

The MeetWave Chrome extension records web calls — Google Meet, Zoom in the browser, Teams web — directly from the browser tab. No bot joins the meeting and participants see nothing. It works on any OS with Chrome, including Mac, Linux, and ChromeOS, and your transcript and AI summary appear at app.meetwave.io minutes after the call.

The Problem

Most meeting transcription extensions send a bot into the call or work only with one platform. And if you are not on Windows, desktop recorders leave you out entirely. You need a way to capture web meetings from the browser you already use — invisibly, on whatever operating system you have.

How It Works

Step 1

Install from the Chrome Web Store

Add the MeetWave extension to Chrome in one click — no admin permissions, no configuration. It works in any Chromium browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, or ChromeOS.

Step 2

Record your web call

Start recording from the extension while your meeting runs in a browser tab — Google Meet, Zoom in the browser, or Teams web. The audio is captured from the tab; no bot joins and participants are not notified.

Step 3

Get your transcript and summary

The recording is uploaded to MeetWave for transcription and AI analysis. Open app.meetwave.io to read the transcript, the AI summary, and extracted action items — the same dashboard the desktop app uses.
