1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of MeetWave ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
MeetWave is an AI-powered meeting intelligence platform that automatically records, transcribes, and analyzes meetings conducted on third-party platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Slack. The Service provides summaries, action items, decision logs, risk analysis, and related insights.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. MeetWave is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this obligation.
4. Authorized Use and Recording Consent
You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from meeting participants before using MeetWave to record their conversations. Many jurisdictions require all-party consent for recording. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all legally required consents and that your use of MeetWave complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
You agree not to use the Service to record meetings without consent, to circumvent privacy protections, to violate any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
MeetWave offers Free, Pro, Max, and Pro Lifetime subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or as a one-time purchase (Lifetime). All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Refund Policy: All charges are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error or experience a material service disruption, you may request a refund by contacting us at admin@meetwave.io within 14 days of the charge. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, handles all refund processing in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable after 14 days from the date of purchase.
6. Intellectual Property
The MeetWave platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is the exclusive property of MeetWave and its licensors. Your meeting data and transcriptions remain your property. You grant MeetWave a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MeetWave does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated insights will be accurate or complete. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetWave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if MeetWave has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in this section limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
