Pro raises that to 1,800 minutes per month with recordings up to 5 hours. Unlimited transcription starts at the Business plan, which is priced per seat. For someone who has a handful of short meetings, the cap is not a major constraint. For someone whose calendar is full of long client calls and workshops, it becomes a planning consideration, and the cost of the tool scales with how much you use it.

MeetWave takes a flat, individual approach: Pro includes 40 hours of recording analysis per month — comfortably above Notta Pro's 1,800-minute allowance — and Pro+ removes the cap entirely, with neither plan priced per seat. The cost is predictable regardless of whether you have a light week or a week full of back-to-back calls.

Storage is the other significant difference. Notta is cloud-first by default, which is what enables cross-device access from its web, mobile, and browser products, though its desktop app offers local transcription for users who want to keep processing on their own machine. MeetWave processes audio in the cloud to generate the transcript and AI summary, but the resulting output is stored locally on your Windows machine rather than retained indefinitely on a server. There is no mobile app, and on other operating systems MeetWave covers web calls through its Chrome extension.

Notta's AI features include a general summary and translation across a wide range of languages, which is a genuine strength for multilingual teams. MeetWave's AI is narrower in language scope but deeper in structure — 15+ summary types built for specific professional roles, plus meeting memory across up to 20 previous meetings, both of which Notta does not offer in the same form.
